MakeIt!
You MUST have the current version of Decal and all the core
components.
NOTE If you do NOT know how to install/update Decal and the core
components, STOP NOW. Do not continue installing MakeIt.
Decal is currently
an Alpha production and not end-user ready or necessarily stable.
Continue
at your own risk.
- Save Makeit595.msi or current version to your hard drive. (Note the
location of the saved file.)
- Save FullRecipeList.zip to your hard drive. (Note the location of the
saved file)
- From your Start button, navigate to Program Files >> Accessories
>> Windows Explorer.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where you saved the files.
- Doubleclick the Makeit595.msi (or current version)
- Click Run.
- Click Next.
- Read the License Agreement.
- Select I Agree below the License Agreement to continue Installation or I
Do Not Agree to cancel the installation.
- To continue Installation, click Next (or change the file location if you
do not want the default folder, then click Next.).
- Click Next again to Install files. Neaten your desk while you wait several
seconds as the files are copied.
- Click Next.
- As a Stellar User, read the Readme.
- Click Next.
- Click Close.
Liek OMG, I can't make anything! Um. Yeah. You
need the Recipe list.
- From your Start button, navigate to Program Files >> Accessories
>> Windows Explorer.
- In Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder where you saved
FullRecipeList.zip.
- Double click on FullRecipeList.zip
- In the Extraction Window, click Extract All Files.
- Click Next in the Extraction Wizard.
- If you saved MakeIt to the default location, click Browse >> My
Computer >> Local Disk C >> Program Files >> GouruWare
>>MakeIt.
Otherwise, navigate to the folder in which you installed
MakeIt.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish
To use MakeIt in game
- Start Decal.
- Log into the game with your tradeskills character (cook, Alchemist,
Fletcher)
- IN GAME, IN THE CHAT SCREEN, type /mi file FullRecipeList.xml
- You are now a chef. Bon appetite.
HELP! My character just stands
there!
- Make sure you have all items needed for the recipe. MakeIt sends error
messages (such as missing comps) to a side chat window.
- Make sure the character you are using has the skill trained. (If you're
not on your cook or fletcher....well, you aren't going to get much done.)
- Make sure your character has both room in inventory for crafting and/or
has sufficient strength to hold crafted items. Excess burden and full packs
generate a crafting failure error message.
